Whether it’s the traditional ‘Swedish Red’ country house, a sauna, or the beautiful Dalahäst, Sweden has a great tradition of woodworking and carpentry. Shorebird, or ‘Strandskata’ in Swedish, was created to continue this through modern furniture and homewares to inspire your ‘Lagom’.

We work in conjunction with Pedaller’s Kitchen, a wonderful collaborative business based in Malmö. From our workshop in Augustenborgstorget, we produce all of our own products in wood sourced from southern Sweden.

We’re passionate about our little community in Augustenborgstorget. We are all small businesses supporting each other through hard work and promotion of the area. During the summer months, we take part in Nära & Kära, a farmers market with the aim of making a difference within the community. Otherwise, we can be found within Pedaller’s Kitchen, where you will also find some examples of our work.
